Dr. Omolola Adetona — or simply Dr. Lola — is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a heart for children and a gift for making dental visits feel easy, comforting, and even fun. Based in sunny San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Lola is known for her warm, welcoming demeanor, something she credits to her rich cultural heritage.
Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Lola earned her dental degree in 1997 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where she also completed her internship in general dentistry. Eager to broaden her horizons, she moved to Texas and spent four years working as a dental assistant in a pediatric dental office while diligently pursuing her Texas dental license.
With faith, perseverance, and some serious hustle, Dr. Lola completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and she’s been in love with the city ever since.
Before founding Arukah Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Lola served as a faculty member in the Pediatric Dentistry Department at UTHSCSA, where she also completed a fellowship in forensic dentistry. Basically, she’s part tooth whisperer, part detective. Over the years, she has had the pleasure of caring for children at various pediatric dental offices throughout San Antonio and the DFW area, including Practical Approach Pediatric Dentistry, earning the trust and affection of kids and parents alike. Dr. Adetona has affiliations with several dental organizations.
While dentistry is truly her passion, Dr. Lola enjoys a variety of other interests when she’s off the clock: solving puzzles, taking road trips, worshiping through music, and finding peace on serene nature trails. Some of her most treasured moments are road-tripping to state and national parks with her grown-up kids (who still think she’s pretty cool).
Dr. Lola is humbled by her life journey and deeply grateful for her accomplishments, but above all, she hopes to be remembered for reflecting the love and grace of Jesus Christ in everything she does.

Chante serves as the Practice Manager at Arukah Pediatric Dentistry, bringing more than 13 years of experience in the dental field. Chante has a passion for helping families feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assisting in 2013 and holds both her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credentials.
As a mom, Chante understands firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to find healthcare providers who truly listen, care, and see your child for who they are, not just another appointment on the schedule. That perspective has shaped the way she serves our families every day.
Chante’s goal is to help create an environment where every child feels welcomed, every parent feels heard, and every family feels supported from the moment they contact our office. Whether she’s helping navigate insurance benefits, coordinating treatment plans, answering questions, or ensuring visits run smoothly, she strives to make the dental experience as seamless and stress-free as possible.
Although she spends much of her time managing the front office, her background as a dental assistant allows her to work closely with both our clinical team and families. You’ll often find her moving between the front and back office, assisting alongside Dr. Lola and supporting our team wherever she’s needed.
Chante takes great pride in organization, communication, and creating systems that help our patients receive the exceptional care they deserve. Nothing brings her more joy than helping families feel confident that they’ve found a dental home where their children are valued, understood, and cared for every step of the way.
When she’s not at the office, you’ll usually find her trying to keep up with her energetic son or working out. Both keep her on her toes and remind her daily of the importance of patience, perseverance, and finding joy in the little moments
